    What is the #StrengthProject?

    A triathlon specific weights based strength training program delivered on-line designed by two experienced trainers to help you build STRENGTH in the gym so that you have more POWER and SPEED when racing.

    Most people do hill repeats or power workouts on the bike to build strength. This will only take you to a certain level where you STOP seeing returns. Specific strength training principals can help you move past that point .

    FAQ'S: Frequently asked questions

    • Q.How long is the Project?

      A.Its a six week program. The first two weeks is all about getting familiar with the plan, building technique and setting realistic weights. Once this is achieved you start to learn how progressively build safely and effectively.

    • Q.Do I have to have access to a gym?

      A.Yes. For the program to be effective you will need access to free weights and a few machines. The program is technically easy to follow but we believe having the right tools for the job is essential.

    • Q.How long will each session take?

      A.Each session will take a maximum of 45 minutes. This includes the pre-preparation warm up drills.

    • Q.How many times will I have to do the strength session?

      A.Minimum of once a week but we recommend at least two to three for maximum returns in your training investment.
